What are the hours for the Support Line?
You can call the toll-free Support Line anytime you need additional information or support. The line is staffed by expert Quit Coaches during the following hours:
10 pm - 5 pm
3 am - 10 pm*
5 am - 12 am
6 am - 1 am
7 am - 2 am
8 am - 3 am
12 pm - 4 am
* 2am-9pm Daylight Savings
You can also access the LM HealthWorks online 24-hours a day, seven days a week.
Do I have to attend classes?
No. All of your coaching sessions take place over the telephone. This means you don’t have to try to find time for classes or trips to someone’s office. And, you can talk to a Quit Coach any day of the week - even Saturday or Sunday.

How does the Quit For Life® Program work?
Here's how the
Quit For Life Program
Once you are enrolled, your Quit Coach will help you develop a personalized quit plan. Your Quit Coach will also determine whether nicotine patches, gum, or prescription medication will be helpful for you during the quitting process.
You will receive a self-paced Quit Guide to use as a handy reference throughout your quitting process.
If eligible, you will recieve a Welcome Email with a password to Web Coach, Free & Clear’s interactive website. With Web Coach, you can:
Track your progress and your personalized quit plan.
Interact with others who are trying to quit and with Quit Coaches in the discussion forums. Peer support is a key factor in success.
Receive coaching emails between calls with tips on quitting and reminders to help you stay on track.
How long does the program last?
The calls we make to you are typically completed within two to six months, depending on how quickly you move through the process of quitting. However, the Quit Coaches will be available to help you establish your new tobacco-free lifestyle and provide you with ongoing support for up to 12 months after you enroll.
What if I don’t have an email address?
Participants will need an email address to experience the benefits of Web Coach. If you have internet access, consider setting up a free email account using a service like Hotmail or Google Mail. If you choose to not use Web Coach, or do not have internet access, you will still benefit greatly from taking all calls with your Quit Coach.
What if I miss my phone call from the Quit Coach?
Please call our toll-free support line back at a convenient time for you. Studies have shown that the more calls you complete with a Quit Coach, the more success you will have in quitting tobacco.
What if I start using tobacco again?
For most people, quitting takes practice. We’re not here to judge you if you slip. Instead we’re here to help you learn from that experience and try again. Each time you try to quit, you’ll learn a little more about what it takes. You’ll learn what works and what doesn’t, and you’ll use that knowledge in your next attempt. We’re here to help you every step of the way.
What type of browser do I need to enroll online?
In order to complete the enrollment form online, you must use Internet Explorer 6.0 and above, Google Chrome, or Firefox 2.0 and above.
